Hydrophobia - Image 1Anticipation sure is rising for Hydrophobia, but it looks like we'll do a bit more wading before we finally get it in our hands.

Although Blade Interactive managing director Pete Jones has confirmed just a few days back that it's now fully playable, it won't be released till next year.

The company has now revealed that it will be slated to come out on March of 2009. No particular date was set yet, but at least we now have a clearer window for launch. And hey, it's not that far from now, and we do have the assets to tide us over till then. Also, they confirmed that they will be self-publishing the third-person action-adventure as well.

Hydrophobia is being prepped up for a multiplatform release on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

There's only one problem that comes to mind when it comes to beautiful games like this and that is the length of the game. Graphics+short length games most of the time unless it's Blu-ray(please no PS3 or 360 fanboys say anything). Hopefully it's multidisc for 360 so that the game can be long.
