Level-5 press conference to have 'shocking announcements'

Tokyo - the place to be - Image 1It seems like the the Tokyo Game Show isn't the only big thing happening in Tokyo this year. Level-5, RPG masters, has taken to Famitsu magazine to place an ad for a "shocking announcement" that will be made at the Level-5 Vision 2008.

The said event will unfortunately be a media and industry-only event, so fans will just have to wait for the news feeds on what this announcement is. The date is set for September 26, 2008.

Splashed across the two-page spread are the words "A game revolution is beginning." At the bottom is a reminder to "wait for shocking announcements from Level-5!". You bet we are waiting for whatever you have to unveil, Level-5.

WKC is getting published by Sony. It's good to see that 360 owners want this game too though.

Also, usually when someone says something like "a game revolution is beginning" indicates a new IP being announced.

Can someone tell me what an "IP" is please? I probably know what it is but just not too sure what the abbrieviation means. If your gonna tell me i'm stupid or that i'm not a 'hardcore' gamer or some other crap, pls don't reply. Any decent people on here who reply, many thanks.

Intellectual Property. Not sure on the exact definition, but it's basically things that can be copyrighted. Usually, "new IP" refers to a new game series with totally new characters, etc.

None of that is exact.

2 is actually probably one of my top 5 gaming experiences one the PS2 and is in my opinion the most under appreciated. I'd take the gameplay of Dark Cloud 2 over the gameplay of Kingdom Hearts anyday, though I wouldn't give up the story. It's probably my favorite action RPG of all time. Though Versus will probably blow it out of the water. I would also like to see a Dark Cloud 3. Maybe with a cooler Main character, but other than that, they can keep everything else the same, it was perfect.

Another Rogue Galaxy title would also be appreciated. Loved that game too.
