You guys may recall we've been covering the progress of Lian Li's upcoming custom case for the Microsoft Xbox 360, dubbed the PC-XB01. The kit has come a long way since its first appearance at this year's CES, with its final build appearing at this month's recently concluded Taipei Computex expo.

Now in case you're wondering what's happened to XB01 lately, that's where this update comes in. Lian Li has announced that the final version of the chassis is now ready for production and is currently expected to launch by August. In line with this news, we've also picked up a summary of what XB01's final build will carry (via Lian Li):

• There is a 120 mm exhaust fan at the rear of the XB01 to replace the two original 70-mm cooling fan.
• The 120 mm fan runs at 1500RPM
• The Xbox 360 DVD-drive has been relocated to the side, allowing maximum opening for the graphics chipset heatsink and it will also allow users to change the heatsink.
• Sound insulation foam sheets around the DVD drive to reduce noise.
• Huge aluminum airduct that covers the Xbox 360 heatsinks, the cold air will pass through the cooler to remove the heat.
• Water tube openings at the rear of the case, allowing users to upgrade their Xbox 360 to liquid cooling solutions.
• The XB01 includes two fan converters for the different versions of the Xbox 360
• There are aluminum flippers to cover and protect the front connectors.
