Little over a week ago, Capcom (finally) made a formal announcement of a re-release for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for the Xbox 360 and PC. Called Lost Planet: Colonies, this edition will have several new maps, as well as new modes you'll be able to play.

Here are four new videos featuring four new modes you'll be able to get for the game's single-player campaign, which includes First-Person mode, Score Attack mode, an only-bosses mode, and an almost-god mode.

First-Person mode allows you to shift perspective from the normal third-person view. However, you cannot pause the game while switching, and you cannot access this mode while in a VS.

Score Attack mode sets you up with a combo meter. The challenge is for you to score points and keep a combo chain going for as long as you can.

Trial Battle mode pits you against the game's bosses. You start by defeating the boss in Stage 1. Each succeeding boss is dictated by how fast you defeated the previous boss.

Off Limit Mode is an almost-god mode that gives increased speed, more powerful weapons, and (get this) unlimited ammo. Even rocket launchers. Booya!
