Xbox 360 owners are getting some baseball action today with the release of the Major League Baseball 2K8 demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The 970 MB demo is free and is available to Xbox 360 gamers in Canada, Asia, and the United States.

If you have absolutely no idea what's new in this latest addition to Kush Games and 2K Sports' baseball series, here's a quick refresher. New features include improved analog-stick controlled pitching and Swing Stick 2.0. Baserunning has also been given an overhaul.

On the roster side, Major League Baseball 2K8 features 90 minor league teams along with 20 minor league stadiums. Downloadable content include new minor league stadiums and uniforms.
