If you've been waiting for a street date for the arrival of the fabled US$ 349 Xbox 360 with a 60 GB hard drive, you may want to check your local stores. There apparently is no street date for the new model.

Major Nelson recently revealed that Microsoft never set a specific street date for the new SKU, saying that "they'll just appear in the retail channels." In other words, they'll arrive at your nearest shop when they arrive, whether it happens now or later.

That said, check with your local game shops to see if the new 60 GB Xbox 360 is already on stock, then feel free to post your location below to let other people know where it's currently available.
