EGM's issue on Gears of War - Image 1

EGM recently published news that Epic Games is already busy in development for the third iteration of the popular Gears of War franchise. Completely quelling that bit of pronouncement is Mark Rein, calling it "total nonsense".

EGM claims in its article that the supposed Gears of War 3 will offer a "five player co-op experience", ready to roll out by Christmas of 2010. But Epic Game's VP says that they are, in fact, still improving Gears of War 2.

Well, they may not be working on it right now, but it sure isn't exactly a far-fetched idea seeing as how successful GoW2 was. We'll keep you posted on any updates regarding this.
