Japan love em RPGs and cute girls - Image 1Media Create has revealed their weekly software sales list for June 11-17, and it's got some pretty interesting titles on top. Bandai Namco's RPG entry to the Xbox 360, Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream held nothing back as it took 2nd place off the bat. Tecmo doesn't disappoint neither as Ninja Gaiden Sigma took 3rd.

DS titles are still dominating the list, with 18 of 30 coming to the handheld. That said, it's finally looking good for Sony and Microsoft at least. Sure, only Call of Duty 3 is the other PS3 entry at 14 while Trusty Bell is alone, but we should be able to agree that some life is breathing into these consoles that Nintendo left behind.

Without further ado, here's the list:

xman, if the 360 is so great why have you been on the ps3 board all night?

oh ya, and did you finally realize how stupid you're post about blockbuster being hd-dvd exclusive was?

it's going to suck for everyone if we have to live through another nintendo monopoly!

I grew up on Nintendo and all but another Nintendo monopoly would blow from a gamers prespective. Back in the 8bit day, Sega was the only company keeping Ninty honest and they did a piss poor job with little to no 3rd party support. Observation Training, More English Training, More Brain Age, Pokemon Pink, Mario Kart 32 WTF! Any serious gamer should be worried if this trend continues. Do you think GTA, Halo or MGS would have ever seen the light of a day on a Ninty system? Hell no!

 » WTF

The only reason a PS3 game is on there is because there has not been any notable games released at all since the ultra disapointing Motorstorm. Come on, a 3 year old port of an XBOX game with hight res textures and a new playable character is #3 in sales? WTF? Why don't people just buy an XBOX for like $100 and the original game for $10? People are stupid.

 » stupid

because if you already have a ps3 it's only $60, and you don't have to buy a dead console, you're right you are stupid. besides lmao is right, read on.

still laugh at all you people arguing about the japanese being dumb when they are smarter than we are. back in the good ol days the sales charts were dominated by games from japan and that still hasn't changed in japan ,but it sure as hell has here. now we have all you arrogant turds running around the internet like 5 year olds spouting meaningless crap. in the ps1 era the action games and games that weren't rpgs were the niche titles. now it's the oposite. because it's taken american devlopers so long finally develop more decent games. if the last generation was anything like the ps1 era we'd still be dominated by good games . now we have crap like madden everywhere*not like it wasn't there before but it wasn't nearly as big* and Halo and GTA. and every arrogant american teenager thinks they are hot ***** now because of these games.

 » What?

First off, who said the Japanese were dumb? Second, what gives you or anyone else the right to judge entire nations based on meaningless conflicts like these? Heck, for that matter, who are you to judge what constitutes a "good game"? Let me give you a lesson in logic: if people are buying game X more than game Y, logically, more people consider game X a "good game" than game Y. "Good" and "bad" are, outside of instances when they're used in place of other more specific terms (like "ripe" for example), completely objective terms. There's no official set of criteria for a "good game"; it's all a matter of opinion.

Sorry, but someone who would pay money for a game called Practice by Observing: DS Observation Training is not smarter than me

Damn, these games really suck.

Only game worth playing on that list is Ninja Gaiden.
