Xbox 360 - Image 1This might really be the "greatest Holiday line-up" in video game history - well, at least for Microsoft and its fans. The company has just announced its E3 2007 line-up for its video game and entertainment system, the Xbox 360. As expected, Halo 3, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare are among the games Microsoft is going to present in the E3 Media and Business Summit. Here's a more complete list of the video games Microsoft will be showing off in this year's E3:

  • Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (Namco Bandai)
  • Assassin’s Creed (Ubisoft)
  • Beautiful Katamari (Namco Bandai)
  • BioShock (2K Games)
  • Blue Dragon (Mistwalker/Artoon Co. Ltd.)
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Activision)
  • Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE 2 (Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.)
  • Grand Theft Auto IV (Rockstar Games)
  • Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (RedOctane/Activision)
  • Halo 3 (Bungie Studios)
  • Madden NFL 08 (Electronic Arts Inc.)
  • Mass Effect (BioWare Corp.)
  • Naruto: Rise of a Ninja (Ubisoft)
  • Project Gotham Racing 4 (Bizarre Creations Ltd.)
  • Rock Band (MTV Games)
  • Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action (Screenlife Games/WXP)
  • Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction (Ubisoft)
  • Virtua Fighter 5 (Sega)
  • Viva Pinata: Party Animals (Krome Studios Pty. Ltd.)
The company also announced some arcade games that will also be added to the growing Xbox Live game library. A deal with Disney-ABC Domestic Television will also bring a number of standard definition and high definition feature films from Touchstone Pictures, Miramax Films, Walt Disney Pictures, and Hollywood Pictures into XBL members' homes. The said films will be available for rent only to Xbox Live U.S. members, and there's no word yet if these will be made available to other territories in the coming weeks. Here's a list of the arcade games to be released in the XBL Marketplace:
Other features announced for the XBL Marketplace include the high definition video store that's scheduled for release by year's end. This aims to bring content to users in Canada and Europe. Aside from the games and other services to be launched in Xbox Live, the company will also be releasing three new products: Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console, Xbox 360 Messenger Kit, and Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers. The Halo-themed console and the Messenger Kit will be released in September while the controllers are scheduled for an October release.

Is that just a list of arcade games that are coming eventually? Or a list of games that will be on the marketplace by the time E3 is over? If that's the case then I better buy some points, I need me some Marathon and Hexic 2

Golden Axe and Sonice are already up for download in both demo and full versions. For me, it's all about the Ace Combat.
