We can confirm that Microsoft is not taking any action (such as banning Xbox Live accounts) against gamers who are playing Halo 3 before the official street date. Any rumours or speculation to the contrary are false. |

the ***** who leaked the ending.
They couldnt take action, they bought a game, they didnt do anything illegal. They could only take action against the store that sold it early.
"the ban is still in effect for Microsoft employees"
There is no Halo 3 ban for Microsoft or Bungie employees. Bungie posted on their own website, that employees would be playing the final version during these weeks leading up to the launch. They warned that the Saved Films feature might leak a few spoilers.
Please QJ, your writers are really not that great, your credibility is not that great either. Stop hurting yourself, and clean up your act. I like having a variety of places I can go check gaming related content, but I like them all to be of a certain quality and credibility. Don't make me write you off as just a bunch of kids writing crap and selling ads to make a quick buck. Because that's exactly how you're starting to come off when you say stuff without checking your facts. Got it? Good.
Well...M$ did the right move in not banning the accounts to prevent lawsuits. In this day in age, who knows what can happen?
