The Time Trial mode is one of the most popular gameplay modes in Mirror's Edge (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) and game developer DICE knows it. That's why they've announced a new Time Trial DLC map pack for the game.

Players will be challenged to achieve the fastest times possible on nine races across seven all-new and totally redesigned Time Trial maps. The maps will be available for all of the game's platforms including PC, which was confirmed for a January 13 release in the US.

Price for the Time Trial map pack has been set at US$ 10 / 800 MS Points. The map pack is scheduled for a late January release.

There's also a little bonus for owners of the PlayStation 3 version: an additional PS3-exclusive map that can be downloaded for free. I guess this is the PS3 DLC that had a few of our commenters up in arms about a while back.

You can check out the DLC trailer (even DLC have their own trailers now, apparently) in the vid below.
