Every week we get loads and loads of new tracks for Rock Band, but next week's batch is kinda special because apart from Journey, Pat Benatar, Glasvegas, and Von Bondies adding tracks for the music game, they will be joined by an icon who's arguably more popular than them - a yellow quadrilateral sea-dweller named SpongeBob SquarePants.

Yes, that's right. He may not be a rock superstar like his Rock Band companions-to-be, but that's not gonna stop the star of Bikini Bottom from trying. SpongeBob is adding three of his tracks from his 2006 album, The Best Day Ever, to the Rock Band's massive archive of songs.

What?! No Campfire Song? Oh well, I don't play Rock Band anyway hahaha. These tracks are to come out on March 31st on Xbox Live, while it's April 2nd for the PlayStation Store.
