In a recently posted image showing the Best Buy ‘Retail Insider,’ they confirm that they will be receiving their next Xbox 360 shipment on December 16th (for the December 18th advertisement.)
What does this mean for you? Don’t expect to see the Xbox 360 Premium for sale on the 16th, as they are waiting for an advertisement to publish first. Let’s see… the 18th is a Sunday, so it will most likely be for sale Sunday morning or Monday morning, depending on when the new ad-week starts. It is to be noted that the core system does not appear to abide by the same rules as the premium system and they may start selling as soon as they receive them.
Although reports from Porcaro do state that replenishment units are on the ground, he does not note when retailers will actually start selling them. (via joystiq)
