Ryu Hayabusa - Image 1You've heard from us a few days ago that Tecmo and Team Ninja's Ninja Gaiden 2 demo has been released in all Xbox Live regions except for North America. A weekend debut was promised soon after, and now it's here.

Fans in the US and Canada who have had second thoughts about buying Ninja Gaiden 2 may now sample it before they decide to do so. Some critics have pointed out that the game may be more fun to watch than to actually play, so this should help a lot of people make up their minds.

If anything, Ninja Gaiden 2 is a sentimental piece of work as it may well be the last installment of the series as we know it. Team Ninja's fiery chief Tomonobu Itagaki has left the fold on bitter fashion, punctuating a long partnership with Tecmo.
