WormsUnfortunately, for the first week of 2007, it seems as if Microsoft won't have any fireworks on Xbox Live. In short: no games this Wednesday. Microsoft hasn't said anything about their reason to suspend the first XBL Wednesday of the year, but they're promising to resume the program by next week.

There's some good news though. Temporarily delayed though XBL games would be, there's already been lots of speculation about the first game they would release for 2007. Anyone want to worm their guesses in? Ha! It's none other than Worms, so they say.

We'll only be able to confirm this though only after the Consumer Electronics Show where they'd supposedly announce the release for Worms. The trade show happens this January 8 so keep your eyes to the skies. We'll give you guys updates as they come by.
