It's a zoo out there this week, yes it is! We've got a better number of releases for April 19 to 25 compared to the past couple of weeks, and all I can say is Zoo Games is definitely on a roll. We've got 13 games in total listed here today, and three of them are all from the Zoo. What should be even more exciting, though, is the release of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2, at last, across the platforms of Xbox 360, PS3, and PS2. Excitebots: Trick Racing for the Wii should get that apt "exciting" adjective, too. PC Gaming also has a pretty cool rep in the form of Cryostasis: The Sleep of Reason. More mutated creatures up in the North Pole for you to shoot up. List awaits, it's all yours. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 - Epic battles await you as you go head-to-head once more against the enemy Mobile Suits on distant planetary surfaces and in the far recesses of outer space. One foe to look out for: Psycho Gundam. Name alone sounds so scary, it should be a tough battle ahead.
Adventure: Collector's Edition (Volume 1) - If you're the type that's looking for non-stop adventure, then you might as well pick up this title from Got Game Entertainment. Within this collection can be found games like Scratches: Director's cut, Penumbra: Overture, and REHM 2. It's really a collector's must-have.
Burger Island - You play Patty Melton, owner of the Beach Burger restaurant, located in a beautiful tropical island. Dreams are big, and expenses are high. In order for you to get to your goal of spreading your franchise to the big capital city of Honochuchu, you must run your business doing all that you can do -- including grilling burgers, cooking fries, blending milkshakes. The Tiki Guy is also there to help you out with new recipes.
Cryostasis: The Sleep of Reason - It's 1968 and you're set to investigate the mystery in a Russian North Pole nuclear station. But you're not alone. Little do you know, there are mutated creatures lurking about. It's not gonna be an easy investigation, for sure. An FPS from Aspyr.
Dream Day Wedding: Viva Las Vegas - It sounds dreamy, but this game is in fact a Strategy one. Perhaps you need to strategize to keep your groom? Hardly. You're a wedding planner, new in the business. Gotta prove your smarts as a high rolling bride becomes your client and counts on you get her dream day a reality. Setting: high rolling Vegas. Excitebots: Trick Racing - It's a racing game but with a fun twist. A chip off the old block of Excitebike series, the Bots present to you a classic racing game with a cartoony twist, and of course, tracks that are challenging and fun. Hands on! Tangrams - What are Tangrams exactly? They're an ancient set of Chinese moving puzzle pieces (seven in all) that come to form hundreds of different figures with multiple solutions. I imagine it to be something like a more visual Sudoku, if you will.
I Love Horses - Annie Greenhill loves her farm and her horses. She's very enthusiastic about maintaining her farm, mucking out the stables, feeding the pets, grooming the horses. After all that hard work comes the time to play. Jump, race, and show off gymnastic skills on horseback in the courses laid out that are sure to up that challenge. A competition is at hand, and only the best can win the top prize.
Jelly Belly: Ballistic Beans - This one's a casual puzzle game with hundreds of puzzles across eight different themes to push your abilities to the test. "Simple to pick up , but impossible to put down." Time to see if this claim has any truth to it. We'll let you know once we find the time to put the game down. Party Pigs: Farmyard Games - It's a party, alright. Eight sporting events await you, all divided into four categories: all-round, speed, power, and skill. Beat your own record as well as your friends, and enjoy bonus games, all with up to three other players.
Pennzoil Build-N-Race: Speed Demons - If you can't get enough of driving games, then check this one out, again from Zoo Games.
Stalin vs. Martians - 1942, Summer. Martians land in Siberia and attacks the people of Russia. Stalin takes control of the situation and makes sure that the Martians do not win over their people. All done in cool, clean, spoofy RTS fun.
Zeno Clash - An action game with lots of melee combat attacks set in a "punk fantasy world". That should be a sight to see.
101-in-1 Explosive Megamix - It's not just a lot. It's A LOT. 101 mini-games all bundled up nice and tight in this single package, making sure that there's a little something for everyone out there, from logic puzzles, to sports challenges, it's all here in one single cartridge.
