Here's the line-up:
Exhibition title Z (only 18 years old or more the object) is divided CERO (computer entertainment rating mechanism) in the rating which is stipulated. As for direction under 18 years old because it cannot enter, beforehand acknowledgment. At acceptance of the meeting place, we request the presentation of the status proof which can do age verification. And it really is too bad that Japan is so far away. This is the kind of event all of us could appreciate - even if we don't speak a word of Japanese. Any videos, demos, and fun to be had during the event would transcend language barriers anyway, right? |

Now that there's a chance for the sexy zombie slasher to head west, it's only appropriate for us to ramp up the gameplay vids. Just so you guys get an idea of what to expect. So far it looks to be something that's more than just sexy ladies in skimpy clothing. For now, click play and check out the gameplay yourselves. Enjoy!
Anyway, if Tamsoft's Oneechanbara Vortex fails to reach North American shores, than you guys can always import. |

There's not much you can say about Oneechanbara VorteX. It's bikini-clad cowgirl zombie killing, and while that isn't a bad thing, it's also far more fan service than your usual video game, with the exception of DOAX2.
Which is why we're somewhat surprised to see an interview with the game's marketing manager instead of more gratuitous slashing. This interview features some new action scenes as well as some of the stuff we've seen from other trailers, but it also shows you some of the little nuances they've put in. For instance, you can definitely confirm that the men in gray suits are definitely baddies, and are strong enough to send the heroines flying with a good kick. Also, you'll get to see a little bit of Dress-up Mode here. The one thing we wish, however, is that Tamsoft and D3Publisher refine the actual gameplay if they intend to make this available to other countries. Being able to dress up characters is nice and all, but if we have to see that same attack animation one more time, we might just go into a zombie rage. For now, enjoy the video, and start those "American VorteX" petitions already! |

A lot of you guys have expressed their personal thoughts on Japan's upcoming sexy zombie slasher/shooter Oneechanbara VorteX from Tamsoft and the way some of us see it, the comments come in either of two kinds of responses. Some people are either abhorringly repulsed by the game while some others are so wanting an English version to head to the western market. For the crowd belonging to the latter side of the argument, here's some good news. D3 Publisher just recently expressed some interest in shipping the said title over to North America come 2007 if there is enough support for it. Now considering the responses to this game based on our blogs, we'd say it's sitting on a 50-50 fence. It's not much of a whale of a tale, if you think about it. It's still definitely possible that they ship it over. Especially since 505 Gamestreet released the PS2 version in UK and entitled it as Zombie Zone, there's still a ray of light for some gamers wanting to see the title head to their side of the world. |

We've got a huge amount of new Oneechanbara VorteX screenshots for you guys today. Now, I don't know how to read Japanese, but judging from the images, what we've got are some new gameplay screenies, a look at the character customization screen (yep, "Dressesup Mode"), and some screen captures of the opening video. And oh, I think the mean-looking guys up above are supposed to be the sub-bosses or something. Check out the pic where one does a Shoryuken on poor little Saki. We also have more screenshots of some of the CG cutscenes. You can check out some of these scenes in the Oneechanbara VorteX Japanese trailer. And, as a side note, Anna the ZPF girl still reminds me too much of Jill Valentine. Oneechanbara VorteX will be hitting Japanese shelves on December 12. Still no word on whether or not this game will be released outside of Japan, but Tamsoft and D3Publisher (who, incidentally, are also coming out with a 100 Bullets game) just might decide to let us kill zombies as scantily clad girls. Oi. Tons more screenshots after the jump! |

It's not everyday that you'd be able to use the words "zombies", "bikinis", and "cowboy hats" in a single sentence. With that being said, let us phrase a question: what do zombies, bikinis, and cowboy hats all have in common? Answer: they all appear in Tamsoft's upcoming game Oneechanbara VorteX.
Today, we have the Japanese trailer in which we get to see more of the combat. We can't believe how brave these girls are to shoot-and-slash through hordes of zombies and giant gelatinous creatures with the skimpiest of clothes. We're also treated to some clips of the two-player mode. While Japan gets a December 14 release, the western market might have to wait a bit for the English version. So, while that hasn't happened yet, let the Japanese trailer fill in that void: |

So, if you knew a bikini-clad, cowboy-hat-wearing, hot-babe-zombie-killer, you'd want to get to know her friends too, right? Well, in the world of Oneechanbara Xfor the Xbox 360, here's your chance to get acquainted with our heroine's better-clothed, still-unnamed, just-as-dangerous-looking friends.
First in our line-up would be our girl with glasses who may actually be a very nice elementary school teacher once you take the saber away, and then we have our silver-haired lass who speaks softly but carries a big, spiky stick. There's our blonde bomb, and there's also have a katana-wielding schoolgirl among the 'Chanbara ranks. Is it just us, or is almost every archetype represented? Anyway, with that thought aside, another thing that one can't help but notice would be the similarities that these characters have with some well-known anime characters. Glasses girl, for example, remind us of one of the vice-Captains from Kubo Tite's Bleach, silver-haired girl is reminiscent of Guilty Gear XX's A.B.A., while the blonde looks uncannily similar to Hellsing's Celes Victoria. But then again, that's just us. One thing is for sure, though: this is the first bikini-wearing, and cowboy-hat-wearing zombie-slayer we have ever seen. Only from Tamsoft, and only in Japan by December 14. More of the images after the jump! |

Don't let the zombies distract you from what's really important here. You have to kill them, remember? Just be lucky that you're controlling a bikini-clad cowgirl with a katana who's good at what she does. |

Okay, let's take a horde of zombies. Then let's add in a girl dressed in a skimpy outfit. Throw in a cowboy hat and a sword for the girl and we've got Oneechanbara X. Oh, and don't forget the lacy pink underwear. This zombie-infested action game is D3 Publisher and Tamsoft's new offering for the Xbox 360. Oneechanbara X (also known as Chambara Beauty X: The Devil Evolution Human, Chambara Beauty X, and Oneechanbara X: The Devil Evolution Human) for the Xbox 360 will be released in Japan on December 31st. US release date is yet to be announced. While we wait for more info on when we can hack, slash, and mutilate our way through all those zombies, check out the screenshots.
