Sir Paul McCartney, one fourth of the legendary band The Beatles put on quite a show last weekend at the recent Coachella Music and Arts Festival. And lookie here, as an added bonus, he even played a clip of the upcoming The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii).

According to the Beatle's official website: [It] was a night of firsts and was the unexpected, unannounced world premiere of the images from the coming Beatle Rock Band game which played on vast screens throughout 'Got To Get You Into My Life".

The video's a bit shaky, but it's pretty obvious that Harmonix really pared down the cartoonish image of the game characters, and rightly so too, given that it features one of the most beloved icons in the history of pop culture.

We can't wait to see for an actual gameplay video from Harmonix, and we're crossing our fingers it'll be very, very soon.
