Portal: Still Alive remaining an Xbox 360 exclusive for now - Image 1

Want some more Portal loving on your PS3? Well, it seems that you won't have it. Valve has dismissed rumors of a PS3 version of Portal: Still Alive, at least for now.

Talking with gaming website CVG, a Valve spokesperson dispelled the rumor of a PS3 Still Alive. To quote CVG's report:

"I'd call that today's rumor," a Valve spokesperson told CVG when quizzed on the subject. Today's rumour, but tomorrow's news, we said. "You're smart to ask. But no," Valve told us.

At the same time, CVG's report did mention something interesting that hinted at the possibility of seeing Portal: Still Alive on other platforms. In the E3 edition of Official Xbox Magazine, Valve's Doug Lombardi remarked that the game was "exclusive to Xbox 360 in 2008." That said, 2009 may hold a different set of answers on the availability of Portal: Still Alive, but we'll have to wait for word on that when 2009 comes.
