D3ublisher of America just announced that Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords on Microsoft Xbox 360 is finally online and available for download. You'll have to dish out 1200 MS Points to avail of this unique puzzle game with strategy and character-building elements from Xbox Live Marketplace.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords looks like another simple mind-boggler at first glance, but it's layered with a storyline that puts you in the shoes of a hero who attempts to save the land of Etheria from evil Lord Bane. There are three game modes where you can prove your skills: Single-player, Instant Action, or Multiplayer.

Other key features of the Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords Xbox 360 version include leaderboards, voice chat, the ability to capture unlocked monsters and runes outside the main story, short recharge time limits for the most powerful spells, XBLA Achievements, and more. You get access to all that as you play a customizable hero with magic powers and creature companions.
