Banjo Kazooie - Image 1

That screenshot above is one of two possibly leaked assets we reported yesterday for the next-gen revival of Banjo Kazooie. From these images, some have speculated that the Nintendo 64 classic will return as a racer game. However, game developer Rare Ltd. urges us to wait a little more before forming any opinions about Banjo Kazooie 3 (Threei) for the Xbox 360.

According to Rare Ltd.'s community manager George Kelion, fresh details for Banjo Kazooie 3 will be announced on tomorrow's Microsoft Gamer's Day. Kelion says that the gameplay mechanic is the one to wait for, as they have "genuinely done something new and innovative." Moreover, he tells us that Banjo Kazooie Threeie is not a racing game or just a graphical showcase.

In any case, stay tuned here for coverage of tomorrow's Microsoft Gamer's Day. Rumor has it that new titles will be announced such as Ninja Blade, Scene It? 2, Lips, and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise.
