Remember when we posted a rumor that we'd be finding out more on the sequel to Viva Piñata, Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, at Microsoft's Gamer Day?Well, it looks like we won't have to wait that long since a number of details about this upcoming game have already been revealed. Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise's lead designer Justin Cook and software engineer Will Brian were interviewed by fansite PinataIsland.info regarding the game and what goodies they plan on putting into the game. Fans of the original game will be probably be pleased to know that Pester is back to his old tricks again. His latest scheme backfired and has caused quite a number of problems in the garden. This pretty much means that players will have to fix-up the mess he created. The game will be featuring 30 new piñatas. While a few of them will be taken from the 4Kids cartoons, quite a number have been created for the game. In addition, new terrain will also be available such as the Desert Dessert and Pinartic, where desert- and Arctic-based piñatas will be coming from, respectively. The developers also mentioned that the Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise will be getting a number of new features including an in-game screenshot system. Interestingly enough, players will even be able to download these pictures to their PCs as explained by the developers: An additional ‘camera’ tool allows you to grab screenshots of your creations and add them to your journal. From the journal you will be able to upload them to the VivaPinata.com website. Once on the website you’ll be able to grab them to a PC, email them or just add links from the community sites. There were more features discussed in the interview including the addition of new mini-games, details about the development team, and even a short discussion on the current trading system of the game.
