Capcom Delays Versus Resident Evil 5 DLC - Image 1

What does this picture have to do with Versus, you ask. Absolutely nothing.

The DLC pack that enables versus mode for Resident Evil 5 (360, PS3) apparently had a release date for Japan, which really doesn't matter now because it's been delayed. And you know what happens if something gets delayed in Japan. Everyone else has to wait even longer.

The initial release date for Japan was March 26, but the new release date is now April 9. No official release date has been announced for other regions except for the vague announcement that it'll come "a few weeks after" the release of the game. I doubt we'll get it any earlier than Japan will, though.

Capcom apologizes through their website, saying "We deeply apologize to those customers who have been waiting for this downloadable content." Whenever it does come out though, it will cost US$ 5 on PSN, and 400 MS Points on XBL.

 » Hmmmm

Could a 'delay' to show they really do have to put some work in on the DLC and it's most definitely not already on the disc just awaiting the 400 MS Point unlock code.

They do a story extension rather than Versus. I really wanna play as Jill one last time before they do a completely different RE game. You know a Seperate ways and talks about when Jill caught up with Chris or where Barry is.

That would be pretty awesoem, playing as Jill, or finding out what happened to Barry! It would bring this chapter to a nice close. Also, it would be nice to know what happened to Ada too ?
