Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello dropped even more hints at Mass Effect 2's multiplatform future during recent EA's earnings call. According to Riccitiello, BioWare will be releasing the sequel to the popular sci-fi RPG "on multiple platforms" in Q4. I'm inclined to think that the "Q4" here pertains to EA's fiscal year instead of the actual calendar year. The PS3 wasn't specifically mentioned as a target platform, but it sounds likely that a PS3 version is in order. Heck, with EA's new-found focus on the Wii, a Mass Effect title for that platform isn't even that far-fetched anymore. Related articles:

i'll believe it when i hold it (mass effect 2 on ps3) in my hands. CEOs have a habit of talking about things they don't really have a clue about...
add to that all the game cancellations and studio closures, and nothing is set in stone.

Now that I think about it, "sony doesn't do anything" is actually a pretty truthful statement. They don't market their games, they don't market the system, they don't buy exclusivity that they SHOULD buy, they screwed up and continue to screw up the price of the system, they pretty much just sit there and assume people will buy anything Sony. They... don't do anything.
I can't remember the last time I saw a PS3 related commercial, for a game or the system. Not many ads in mags either. What's Sony doing? Only one logical answer: nothing. And if they continue to do nothing they'll continue to fail

Maybe you should stop playing video game and watch some TV and you'll see them Playstation commercial and how did they screwed up the price of the system? 400 for it is actually cheap, I paid 600 dollar for it. And don't use the xbox to compare the price, It use to be the same price before too.

Assuming ME2 will still carry over your save files from ME1 it would be kinda lame to not have ME1 on PS3 first
