Forming a rock band is no easy feat, plus it doesn't come cheap too. Be it a real rock band or a band for the newest rock 'roll game, Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3). Just a few hours ago, we reported that GameStop is now accepting pre-orders for Rock Band accessories such as the Rock Band Drum Set, Guitar Controller, Microphone, and Wireless Guitar Controller.

The most expensive accessories are the Drum Set and Wireless Guitar Controller (both sell for roughly $80), the Guitar Controller has a $ 60 price tag and the Microphone sells for $40.

So if these prices are accurate, you'd have to cough up a lot of dough to really rock out with Rock Band. But prices are still subject to change, so hopefully they'll lower the prices mark. But good news for the penny pinchers out there, CVG reports that the Guitar Hero II Xbox 360 controllers are compatible with Rock Band for the X360, so that could save you 60 or 80 bucks.
