Geralt, the hero of The Witcher RPG by CD Projekt for the PC - Image 1After receiving some well deserved accolades with the release of The Witcher on the PC, it looks like CD Projekt is looking to expand its fan base for the game. The official site has posted job openings for console programmers specializing on the Xbox 360; suggesting that the PC-exclusive RPG title may be moving to the consoles soon.

Despite the company's previous announcements that The Witcher won't have a console version, this very specific advertisement on CD Projekt's website suggests otherwise. What's more one of the requirements of the job description state that the programmer just have a "practical knowledge of parallel programming", which basically means porting a program from one platform to another.

We'll just have to wait and see if the company is indeed going to go back on its word and share the RPG goodness for console gamers everywhere. Check back on us for more information as we get them.

Amazing that this story breaks down what the job offer is for exactly like another article that was published a few hours earlier on another xbox site.
