Niko Bellic, main protagonist of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV - Image 1After the numerous rumors that Rockstar Games' release date for Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360, PS3) will be pushed back even further, even more speculations have popped up pinning the UK release for the game at April 25. This slight delay coincides with the end of second financial of Rockstar's parent company Take-Two Interactive.

While the game's release still falls within the projected date originally announced by Rockstar Games, the game will be missing the Easter season release of games which other game polishers should be thankful for.

When pressed for a comment on the matter, however, Rockstar Games representatives refused to give answers to "rumor and speculation."

According to a source from MCV who commented about Take Two's plans for the highly anticipated sequel:

The last I heard about GTA IV’s release was a couple of months ago, when all the changes were taking place at Take Two’s UK offices. Since then, they’ve gone a bit quiet on what’s going on with GTA IV. The way Take Two work on GTA has always been very secretive. I’d expect some more concrete news from them two or three weeks before release.

In any case, let's hope this is the last news of any more possible schedule bumps for the game.
