We have no announcements to make on pricing at this time. While price matters, content is king. And no other system is offering all the games people want to play this holiday at a better price than Xbox 360. |

Sony didn't do a price cut. They lowered the price on their old stock and kept the price point for new hardware at the same point. The new hardware has 20GB more, but relies on software for backwards compatibility.
im pretty sure that there will be a price drop after the 360 price drop and who cares nobody will by the PS3 because it sucks and it only has one good game and it is pretty much only a Blu-Ray player
Could this mean MS may follow in their paths making the premium the same price as the core and scrapping the core all together O_o maybe...
I doubt Microsoft can afford to drop the 360 price after their last fiscal year (loss of 1.9 billion). Not only do they have such a big loss but they also now have the new 3 year extended warranty and new repairs for free looming over them, and since microsoft do not seem to be doing anything about the ROD then their profits will plumet again.
I just highly doubt microsoft can now afford another price drop.
What i don't understand about this whole 360/PS3 fight is the fact that most good titles that are going to be on the 360 have a PC counterpart. I don't know about the majority of 360 fans and PS3 fans, but i own a pretty nice computer as well as the console. So being a PS3 owner can play all their good games, and buy the good 360 games on the PC. just a thought.
doesn't even pay for the repair cost.....cheap bastard
Hahaha, can you be any more right?
Now i can buy lots of 360s and then chuck em with my catapult at sony fanboys!!!!
