With the coming of a new year, we will all be sure to be barraged by a whole barrage of rumors about video game titles.

Among them are the possibility of a game from the Earthbound series for either the Wii or DS. This is not to mention that the Kane and Lynch 2 rumor is still making a lot of waves.

The Earthbound series holds a special place in the hearts of many old school gamers. While we haven't really heard much about a revival of the game, it would be interesting to see an updated version of the title on either the Wii or the DS.

The second rumor, which says that Kane and Lynch 2 is "still happening" is an interesting one. Considering that the game received mixed reactions from gamers, IO Interactive and Eidos might be able to justify releasing a sequel to appeal those who felt let down.
