Gotta love a media blitz! Today via press release, Funcom's let out a whole big batch (and by big, I mean "a huge number of" and "hugely insane resolutions of") screenshots, screenshots, and more screenshots for Age of Conan. We get to see the expansion teaser art too, as well as comparisons of Age of Conan on DirectX10 vs DirectX9. Plus a sneak peak at the free content that's coming within the next few months! It's thumbnail enlargement time!

Codemasters has released screenshots of several of their upcoming games over at the Leipzig Games Convention, including Operation Flashpoint 2, Overlord: Dark Legend, Overlord: Minions, and Rise of the Argonauts. Check them out in the full article.

There's not actually much hair per se in these images, but it's not often one gets to use the word "hirsute", legitimately in a headline. I like to take my chances when I get them. Bayonetta is the brainchild of Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya and features a gun weilding female protagonist, she has guns on her hands and feet, she's a witch, and she uses her ludicrously long golden locks in combat. Of course.

It's been teased, now it's official. Perennial fan fave and master of assassination Akuma, looks set to make an appearance in the next installment of Capcom's revered Street Fighter series.

Okay, it's more a costume change than a sex change, but it certainly caught your attention, didn't it? Siliconera reports that, much like the later installments in the Mega Man series of games, Mega Man will be able to purchase additional items and power ups from Auto's shop.
