Rico Rodriguez announces the sequel with a bang

Avalanche Studios has told Kong, a Swedish publication, that a sequel for Just Cause is "in the pipeline" according to Pro-G Media. The only details are the platforms: Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. And that's all we got from them.

We like the idea of a sequel. Just because Just Cause is that good - or so say those of us who like its fast pace, action, and story. The physics are "more real" than the real world (think "Hollywood action flick"), and the settings are brilliant. Of course, if you take real-world sociopolitical issues seriously (you know, if you like to join debates about "U.S. intervention in other sovereign states"), you might take offense at some of the things that happen in this game.

The game also has the ESRB M-rating-worthy unholy quintuplet: drugs, bad words, violence, blood, and sex. This isn't an innocent romp like Disney's Cars.

This game got all the graphics and controls but it needs a better story. Hopefully they fix the mistakes that were in 1 and do a better job on 2. Normally its always backwards were 1 is good and 2 is horriable.

I bought just cause on release and took it back the same day (PS2). The graphics were bad the animation of people was like missing about 50 frames in the animation and so many glitches and bugs! Also by brother got the Xbox one, much better graphics but still that was the only difference, i took mine back within 2 hours and got my money back and in my town quite alot of this had been going on, so lets hope it doesnt happen this time round, bearing in mind i havn't played the 360 version of PC so i don't know about those two

I have the 360 version and it's very good, a great game for this studio's first. Hopefully they will improve upon every area and make Just Cause 2 a must-buy!

I got the 360 version and loved it.
It was my most played game for ages. I played it like 15 hours in 3 days.
The thing that got to me was after the story, the liberation things were repetitive and it didnt seem worth it going round to almost 50 places doing the same thing (as the game is so freakin' huge).
