Microsoft has been sending out invitations to try the Shadowrun beta via email to lucky Xbox Live members. The email carry a notification saying you (the recipient) are among the chosen few and has a code in it that grants you access to download the 888MB file.

Anticipation has been building up for the past few months, and that's not a surprise at all. Shadowrun is among the greatest games of all time, and certainly in the upper echelon of SNES classics. For those of you young enough not to have seen the original, it's a shame. But don't fret, the Xbox 360 incarnation of the thriller RPG is looking gnarly and will more than make up for what you missed.

Those lucky enough to get the first-hand experience of playing the beta are encouraged to post their comments tell everyone in the QJ community what they think about this monster in the making.
