Ó

Ok, first I hear that Tricia Helfer's lending her talents to Spider-man: Web of Shadows. And now I hear it's going to have - no, not just a Wolverine, but a symbiote-Wolverine! (Oooh boy, another "oh my god" moment!)

In this video interview, studio head Chris Scholz sheds a bit of light on certain snippets of what the overall story for the game will be like. It looks like Web of Shadows' major conflict will center on Venom's symbiote (the "living costume" that makes him Venom), which decided to pull a Raccoon City of its own.

Yep, Venom's symbiote goes out of control in this game, which causes an outbreak on New York City. This leads to a whole mob of civilians, superheroes, and villains getting infected by the alien zombie-bug. Heck, even Wolverine isn't safe!

Activision's Spider-man: Web of Shadows will be released on the PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii, and DS on October 21.

Is it just me or does the city look very unimpressive?

 » Agreed

Getting pretty sick of Activision whoring out games to every console on earth. A Spiderman 360/PS3 only game that doesn't look like ass please.

Marvel Zombies.

Really though, that would seem like the next natural progression after this game comes out and what an amazing game that would be. That's all I could think about when watch this video, especially talking about the people being infected, and that shot in the game when spiderman is standing in the middle of the street and the zombie like symbiotes are limping towards him.

Get to work on it immediately Activision, itll easily be your best selling marvel oriented title ever, make sure you include lots of blood and gore like the Marvel Zombies comic did.

wouldnt Wolverine be immuned to the symbiot in a matter of seconds because of his healing ability. His body would not allow any other type of organic material that doesnt belong in his body. If they need a cure to the symbiot it will probably be Wolverine and thats the end of the game.

Another thing I thought Venom wasnt as bad a Carnage...I guess the Symbiot is in full control now

I cant believe that no one exposed Wolverines abilities yet. I mean that guy could cure every disease.

Not really, in the comics Venom kinda' kick wolverine's a**. Beyond that the symbiote is a living creature. It would actually enhance Wolvie's abilities, he would have no reason the physically reject it. He would be fighting to keep his sanity, because be would go feral the moment the symbiote attaches. That and the symbiote would be playing with his mind.
