Ó

I guess we're still playing the "Where in the world is Sam Fisher" game. An update has been made to the so-far cryptic website for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360) title that is set to be delivered by Ubisoft. And yes, it actually does make things a bit clearer, albeit still shrouded in mystery.

The added teaser this time around continues on beyond the initial video of an outer space satellite "acquiring target". Zooming in on an island, the satellite then records the data that the target has been acquired. However, just as the satellite zooms in on the location, the screen suddenly goes all funky and green, and then we can only assume that the satellite has gone kaput.

But the trackers really are persistent, and it continues to go around the globe in search of said target. Next stop is a mainland, which appears to be in Europe, and again, just as the target is acquired, the tracking device fails. Interestingly enough, the third location zooms in enough to expose the roof of one structure that looks like a stadium. Lo and behold, if you take a closer look, a sign on the roof reads "Staples Center". Hello, LA.

Obviously, these are the settings of Conviction. Looks like our friend Sam's been living out of his suitcase, jet-trotting the world over.

Things are definitely looking interesting, eh?
