Square Enix sure loves teasers. Earlier this month, they revealed a screenshot for a new game in the pages of Official PlayStation Magazine. Now they have another teaser, this time in the form of a website. The teaser site shows a futuristic skyline where gunfire and explosions suddenly erupt. The image also carries this quote from John F. Kennedy: "The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life." The image used in the website is apparently also in the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine, which will reportedly reveal the new title next month. I'm an impatient guy, though, so I'm gonna call this one right now for the new Front Mission game that it is. Come on, "very different now" just screams Front Mission: Evolved, right? Plus if you listen closely to the teaser site (and add a bit of imagination), you can hear the gunshots bouncing off of Wanzer armor. Hey, if I'm wrong, at least we still get another new game. I really hope I'm right, though. I'm dying for a new Front Mission game. Note that the teaser site is in the Square Enix Japan website, but if OXM's got the dish on this game (whatever it turns out to be) then chances are we'll be seeing a North American release as well. » NA release a given?
Devs almost get NOTHING from making games only for Japan. Plus you already said it's probably gonna come out for 360 too. So obviously it's coming out in the US....

» How do you figure?
I may not be business savvy when it comes to gaming (I just know the Wii prints money). Far as I can tell, I'd think the devs get their paychecks during development. Also, I believe the publishers in America ultimately have to decide how profitable it will be to market/localise. So in conclusion, I think the devs do get something whether or not this comes to America depends on SE America. I mean someone let me know if I'm wrong here.
Anyways, this is probably Front Mission. If this on display at E3 then it's safe to say it's coming to America lol. I'm excited whatever it is.

» Hopeful
I also want a new Front Mission. Would love to see what improvements would be made to the series on a better system.

» Sounds like Front Mission to me too
FM4 was a disappointment to me. If this is a FM title, hopefully it's a good one.
