Armchair pugilists rejoice! The first-ever gameplay videos of Capcom's highly-anticipated sequel to the legendary series, Street Fighter IV, have just surfaced, and in them we see Ryu and Ken tearing it up 2D-style. Sure, the characters themselves are rendered lovingly into muscle-bulging 3D, but you have to admit the guys over at Capcom have done a pretty neat job of preserving the art of throwing fireballs and spinning kicks. |

The quality of the video is a bit poor, I wish it would have been in high rez. You really can't say much from that video alone. Lets hope Capcom takes the series to another level. Hopefully environmental interaction would be included into the game.
Why!? Why? *goes to a corner and weeps*
It'll be okay, Rio! It's next-gen!
*patpats*
These are just the initial vids. The game is far from complete. Hopefully the finished product will be way better, so don't give up hope. :)
are you finished with that corner??? i think it's my turn, i've got tissues.
u should be thankful Arika isn't involved with this game i'm happy to see it in motion :)
BAD...ASS
I hope they manage to pull this off.
The art doesn't look as good as all the hand drawn character pictures they have been showing for the game. Look at their faces in the video. Their faces look kind of goofy and misshaped.

it looks like it will play like the alpha series.
QJ, do you guys know that the 1UP show exists? So from now on you should just post the link to the 1UP show so people won't have to watch low quality youtube videos. To see the 1UP show, go to www.gamevideos.com.
