THQ and Volition have followed up their announcement of the Saints Row 2 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) DLC with a firm and solid release date for the upcoming third-person action game, Red Faction: Guerrilla (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC).

Yup, this third title in the Red Faction series has dropped the FPS gameplay from the first two Red Faction games. You'll see if it's up to snuff as a TPS when it hits stores on June 9.

A demo is also being readied for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The demo's public release has been confirmed for April 23, but those that pre-order the game from GameStop can actually access it beginning April 3.
