Meetings with investors for an earnings call is probably one of the most unlikely places to get word on upcoming games. But that's what we got right here exactly. Word's out that THQ is hoping to release the next installment in the Smackdown vs. Raw franchise sometime later this year, this according to execs who attended that meeting.

That next installment being referred to is easily Smackdown vs. Raw 2010. But of course, as this was just in an investors' meeting, there's not much info we can garner from it apart from that release window that they're hoping to meet. What's clear, though, is that there's another one coming, and hopefully it'll be even better than the previous iterations.
