I know several other xbox games where maps used to cost money for example, both of the latest splinter cells offered map packs for a fee, but now they r free.
It could be free, because no one is ever playing this game?
Great game, don't know if it's just an under rated game or what...
But everytime I hop on to see if anyone is playing it, can't ever find a match.
Yeah I enjoyed it, but maybe it's a little too arcadey for the people that think they are hardcore :P
It is a bummer for the people that paid, but no doubt they had some fine print somewhere that said that the price may change at a later date, ie become free...
The real question is if other games do this, are they going to reimburse people? I'm sure they won't but isn't that a rip off for those who did blow money on this stuff?

what about games that get a price cut just a few months after it comes out?
or the games that get thrown into the low-price bin?
happens all the time. This is the first time. And I'm willing to bet it isn't the last.
Yea it *****ING sucks...but hey..that's life.
should you buy something new? or wait till its so cheap its practically free?
(don't say my metephors aren't great...because yes there is a difference between a map pack that is a couple of dollars and a game/electronic device that can be anywhere from 50-100$...but it still can be classified as being "riped off" genearlly speaking...not my opinion...but for cheapskates...it is theirs.)
