Madden 07And now, we bring to you the latest chart of the hottest games in the US for this week. From the looks of it, though, it seems that the Land of the Brave has caught the football fever with half the spots in the chart being occupied by Madden games for different consoles. Another thing to note will be the fact that the two DS games in the US charts have also been contenders in last week's UK top ten.

But enough of the chit-chat, and on to the countdown!

 » Wow...

U.S. sales charts are boring to look at, aren't they?

I don't see what's so amazing about the annual Madden release.

 » madden is surprisingly popular

so my gf and i went to ol walmart monday night, and at one of the local game shops we see people there around midnight. "oh, some big game must be coming out." I start thinking of what game could be coming out. We get inside walmart and in the electronics section theres about a dozen people waiting. "hmmm, i think final fantasy vii comes out today, its the only game i can think of that would be this big", i say to my girlfriend. She then says to me "those dont look like the type of people that play final fantasy." sure enough, i get home and check out the releases for this week, and there is madden 07. i cant believe how many people were waiting for the game. for a sports game thats often shunned by myself, and a lot of "gamers" it did have quiet a turn out for their annual update.

of course i must add that i live in a college town and this could greatly change the turn out. *especially since its gainesville florida, university of florida. big football, and now basketball ;) town.*

Yeah so uh what's that word again... oh yea "Duh" so sure you don't like the game sure it's only the 100th version that's come out and sure most are getting really annoyed about EA but it's Madden how could this game not sell. I'm suprised it only took 5 out of 10 but yea Tomb Raider for the 360 is number 5?? How did that happen? Oh must of been because people have all the fps out there and they wanted something else

» Know why madden is so popular?

The United States is full of dumb people, whiggers, wanabes gangsters, and *****s, they think it's so k0ol to be playin madden all day doug XD So ya Maddens targeted to the retarded youth which is stupid enough to buy the new releases just because it's 200X, I swear then good games like dead rising which actually show some originality (cmon no one has made a free world you can roam full of zombies besides RE but the game was limited... I farking hate U.S. why can't they be like the japanese youth and not into speakin country and telling briches from moes XD WTF I hate this.

 » Ok

Why shouldn't Madden be there. EA knows that they got a game in thier hands and they'll take advantage of that. Just because some people don't like the game doesn't mean everyone doesn't. People buy games that they like and football fans like Madden. Not all people who buy the PlayStation's or Xbox's buy the Final Fantasy's and the Halo's, they buy what they like. If the game is popular people will buy it no matter if it's good or bad, like Kingdom Hearts II. Great story, not so good game play. So for the people who say Madden shouldn't be there, why not. If it sells, it sells.

 » Madden Missing Something?

I picked this up this weekend and was happy to see the cool PSP only mini-game but the PSP version seems to be missing the superstar mode. Everythign else seems to be there and the transfer to PS2 is very cool but without superstar mode, it's like we got half the game but gain portability. Can any confirm if Superstar mode is XBox only or where I can find it on the PSP version? Thanks!
