Genki is at it again with yet another replay trailer from Tokyo Xtreme Racer. As you might recall, this game looked absolutely horrid when we first heard about it, but as you can see from the trailer things are beginning to shape up. Some of the environment models look a little dull and this game is far from being comparable to Project Gotham Racing 3 or even Gran Turismo 4 for that matter, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. As you might have guessed, Tokyo Xtreme Racer is all about customizing your ride in both visual and performance aspects in order to have the hottest ride in the Tokyo Underground.Download: [Tokyo Xtreme Racer Trailer] |

The first trailer for Tokyo Xtreme Racer has just been released from Genki, and surprisingly enough it doesn't look half bad considering how disappointed we were with the previous batch of screenshots. Planned for release at the end of July in Japan, Tokyo Xtreme Racer looks like your typical Fast and the Furious clone with plenty of customization options throughout the Tokyo underground. Genki has just released a new pack of screenshots from their upcoming racer Tokyo Xtreme Racer. As you can see, this game isn't what anybody would call next generation or current generation for that matter. The environments look cheap and sloppy and the texture detail is lacking. Some of the car models don't look horrible and the menus look pretty spiffy, but the majority of these screens don't look too promising. Still, the in-depth customization options and cool online modes over Xbox Live might still make it an appealing title, but hopefully the developers can make it look a little better before its planned released of July 27th.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer will build upon the hit series Shutokou Battle when released on July 27th by adding a whole slew of new features. With the ability to race at night, midnight, and daybreak, Tokyo Xtreme Racer will take car customization to a whole new level. You'll be able to adjust every aspect of your car to your own liking and then show it off to your friends online. You can customize how you want to setup your street races to rise in the ranks. In these screens, we get a good look at some of the environments, as well as cool cars like the Mazda RX-7 and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.
