 Remember the announcement that the Xbox 360 will get exclusive downloadable content for Tomb Raider: Underworld?Yeah, if you're a PS3 gamer, don't count on it being a timed exclusive. Eidos has confirmed that the DLC will not - repeat, not - appear on other consoles. What's more, the demo planned to come out for the game this month is also an Xbox 360 exclusive. Called it. So first it was Grand Theft Auto IV, and then it was Fallout 3. Now it's Lara Croft. What's with all this PlayStation 3 deprivation? Is Microsoft dishing out money again to get these DLCs, or are Bethesda and Eidos just not PS3 fans? |

Maybe they're not too happy about the success Uncharted has had and the movie deal doesn't help either I'd imagine.
Their loss not mine! Uncharted 2 is next year so I can wait!

... of course it's *****ing Microsoft dishing out money, that's all they ever do to take control over the market and make game developer's restrict content for the PS3 version of their games. It shouldn't be allowed. They know that the PS3 is a tough competition so the only way they can "win" the console war is to pay off the devs....

Seriously, I don't think Eidos hates Sony or anything since Tomb Raider began on a Sony system...It's just M$ paying tons of devs to give them exclusive stuff. It only makes sense. I don't care if you're a fanboy or not, it only makes sense. Sure, it's a smart move from a business perspective, and in the end, most devs only care about the money, so it's basically "The first to get to us and tell us to make exclusive stuff will get that stuff on your system and your system only"

The recent Tomb Raider games have been garbage anyways and this doesn't look like it will break the mold. I'd rather wait for Uncharted 2 as that will be better anyways. I'll be passing on this game (especially since they don't want to give out a demo to anyone but 360 so I guess they can expect a lot less sales).

If Eidos wants to strike deals like that and turn their back on gamers as a whole, then I don't mind not buying their games. If I do buy the game I'll wait until its around $20 used to make sure the money made from my purchase doesn't go to the game developer. Cheers Eidos!
