Word has it that the Too Human trilogy by Silicon Knights will be jousting Shenmue off its throne as the most expensive video game ever produced, with an estimated US$ 80-100 million budget for each installment. Unfortunately, development has been in tight wraps and only a brief trailer reached E3. The good thing is, here's yet another short trailer - but with gameplay footage this time!

So far, we know that Too Human will be a crazy mix of Devil May Cry and conventional RPGs, resulting in an action-packed game with plenty of hack-and-slash and roleplaying. The video shows us a little bit of that, featuring protagonist Baldur with various weapons and moves to take down foes.

With all the buzz surrounding Silicon Knights after suing Epic Games for some Unreal Engine 3 issues, we sure are glad that they managed to dish out something new. Too Human first appeared during E3 1999, and we'll have to say it's about time we see the fruits of much hard work.
