Take Two - Image 1Director says, "CUT!" So now Red Dead Redemption (PS3, Xbox 360) and Mafia II (PS3, Xbox 360) are prepping for their second take at securing that elusive release date. Take-Two Interactive has announced the bad news - the two titles will indeed need a take-two for release now that they're not making their scheduled Fall 2009 margin.

In their Q2 fiscal 2009 report, Take-Two said that the reason for the delay is "to allow additional development time for the titles and to maximize their full potential in terms of the quality of the player experience and market performance." So now, the release for the two titles would be in the first half of the 2010 fiscal year, which starts on November 1st.
