Unreal Tournament for the Xbox 360 - Image 1Fans of Unreal Tournament 3 (currently PC, PS3) who've been waiting for the Xbox 360 version of the game to come out only have a couple more weeks to go. Midway and Epic Games have announced the release date for Unreal Tournament 3 for the Xbox 360, and it's coming with a bunch of extras!

According to the press release they sent out, the Xbox 360 version of the game will be heading out to store shelves on July 7, 2008. New features include a split-screen mode, five exclusive maps, and two all-new characters. All previously released downloadable content for the game will be included in the package as well.

In addition to all that gaming goodness, the Xbox 360 version of the game will also receive a special Gears of War 2 video preview, which includes information on never-before-seen footage of the game's multiplayer modes, including maps, weapons, and other gameplay elements.

Glad you waited? Well, keep your cash in check till July 7, alright?
