We came across this comparison video of the 8-bit classic Double Dragon with the original version and the updated one going head to head with each other. The Xbox Live Arcade is as close as you can get to the real thing, which means you'll re-live all the wonderful bare hand-bashing memories once more.

Some changes have reportedly been made in the XBLA version of the game such as an online co-op where doing stuff that will get your partner killed will be fun, along with graphical enhancements that would go along with advances in TV and console visual definition.

Double Dragon was one of the prominent Famicom beat 'em up franchises from the late 80's to the dawn of the 90's. It made cooperative play a lot of fun and added entertaining special moves like hurricane kicks and flip throws to deepen the gameplay. If you weren't around to catch it the first time, now's a good time to find out what the retro craze was all about by downloading it to your Xbox 360 hard drive.
