If you're an MMORPG player who's really into the nitty gritty of character customization, you may want to hear what Funcom has to say about the character creation process in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (PC, Xbox 360).

After all, the developer showed a demonstration video during the last Game Developers Conference. During the first half of the video, Funcom demonstrates the details that players in Age of Conan may play around with while customizing their characters.

The second half of the video shows an avatar having washed ashore on a beach. He then encounters an NPC who gives him directions to help start him off on his quest. Of particular interest to note is the way that Funcom tackled demo video.

At certain points, the developers switch to tongue-in-cheek humor and insert comments about going through loincloths and meeting up with desirable women. You'll have a better idea of what we mean when you watch the video below:
