Halo 3 Beta video clips aren't the easiest things to get by, and it's hard not to get blinded with the game's awesome visuals and intense action in the event that we do see one. However, the game needs a bit more of fine-tuning from the development team because of the existence of some bugs and glitches which may be exploited to spoil the fun. This video is pretty lengthy, but it's fun to watch because it shows a lot of the weird stuff that the devs need to patch.

Betas are great because they allow a select few to experiment with a near-complete version of the game. In return, the developers get an army of free error-testers devoted to the cause who never ask to be paid. It's a win-win situation that few people whine about.

Halo 3 tells the apocalyptic tale that gives a conclusion to the dramatic events in Halo 2. The Master Chief is coming to Earth to end the war once and for all. Earth's forces are reeling, offering mere pockets of resistance to the coming scourge. In addition, a mysterious object has been discovered in Africa which may impact the battle in a huge way. Fans better get ready because Bungie is poised to blow us all away for the third time.

Firstly, why do you bother wasting your time slagging here on the 360 page, if you don't like it then go somewhere else, no one is interested in your opinions.

Secondly, cool vid guys, I wouldn't say much of them are glitches as you can access them by jumpin and it's not like your floating around on air (cept that mongoose bit). The only major glitch was the mongoose exploding and getting stuck on it.

Anyway cool vid :)

none of these are glitches or exploits at all! all are legitimately obtained places that can be accessed... with a little help. The mongoose replay was a bit weird, but not an exploitable glitch.

The most important thing to remember when finding exploits is that this is beta. It WILL be patched SEVERAL times.

Sorta reminds me of CS how you can boost up a person by shooting them. Pretty neat. Glitch wise, I doubt anyone would have time to get up there that fast without being shot at.

It seems that half of those weren't even glitches.

Like when he got on the roof... that thing shoots you up for a purpose, and there's a vehicle on the roof, meaning it should be accessable.

Also, there's not really an advantage in alot of those.
Like, sure, you have a high up place, but you're just screaming SHOOT ME when you're up there. You're the bullseye on a dart board.

whateva.

the dude used a portable grav-lift to get on the roof, a peice of equipment. as for the mongoose it was put there by players as well.

Who does this kind of crap first thing? Is the first thing these kids think about when they get the beta "let's find glitches"? So stupid

   Re: AoxomamoxoA - 2007-05-17
 » dumb...

thats the point of a beta...wow, dumb. youre SUPPOSED to find flaws and glitches in betas so that the devs can fix them before the final game ships.

 » Um, no

Alright, so upon getting on the beta for the first time, which would you rather do:

A. Be a nerd and hunt for glitches (and really, the crap in this vid has nothing to do with glitching)

or B. Actually play the damn game? Which is the actual point of the game so Bungie can test network stuff. Which they have said numerous times... Finding glitches isn't the whole point, and I highly doubt most of the people who look for them have any intention of informing Bungie.

Honestly, if there is anyone out there who still gets on Halo 2 to look for/perform glitches, they need lives.

yes halo 3 will be great, no doubt, but when somebody says " only nerds look for glitches and hacks in a beta, just play the game"...this quote is possiablely the best quote to make yourself look like a no brain fantard that would start a fight just because of ignorents...before i start to flame i will make this simple...

1. betas are a glitchy half game, betas are released to the public so the publisher may have free game testers...you have some fun one day, the other you look for glitches and think " what would make halo 3 better?" and then you send your report...at least thats what the publisher want out of there loyal players...

2. demo, a taste of greatness...this is when you would play your brains out (for the "hard work" you did on the beta)...depending on how well a beta went, the demo will have way more stuff.

3. the game...through a simple beta, they saved money, had more time to work on the game, and got the fans opinion...this makes a game worth its price...
