Video: Xbox 360 Lego cooling mod

We've seen people do all sorts of cooling mods on their Microsoft Xbox 360s to avoid getting the dreaded "three red lights" issue. While these mods are nothing new to us, this one on video was pretty eye-catching in terms of creativity and uniqueness. How so? Get a load of this:



Pretty sweet, eh? A cooling mod that 's built with Lego blocks not only manages the heat, but also looks very nice. Whether it actually lowers the chances of system breakdowns remains to be seen.

The Xbox 360, for those of you who don't know, has had a long war against the now infamous "red lights of death." The introduction of new Zephyr and Falcon motherboards, however, seem to have improved the reliability of the systems drastically. Here's hoping that Microsoft continues its pro-consumer efforts to keep its customers happy while playing their high-quality games.

My 360 already sounds like a freaking jet when it spins up a disk why would i want to add another two or three fans. And Glen I dont know what your setup is like but if you think that "looks great" then you must have duct tape holding your entertainment center together or something.

I never hear my 360, my surround sound fixes that.
If my 360 was left on with no music or sound effects running, I still can't hear it. It's sitting inside of an entertainment center.
I currently only had my 360 freeze 3 times, and never RRoD.

Being a lego fanatic all my life even I can say get a freaking life man, that looks like ****.

Another reason why I prefer the PS3. Also with 65nm Process Technology there would be dramatically less heat produced so you wouldn't even need aftermarket cooling.
