Vin Diesel and Agent 47

Vin Diesel facts: Riddick to most, Melkor to the D&D community, real name Mark Sinclair Vincent III. And for the videogaming community, up until now, the iRL face of one of gaming's most notorious cue-balls - Agent 47 of the Hitman game series. Did we mention he uses a gun and bucket for blood donations?

Unfortunately, as hinted in the clause "up until now," it ain't the case anymore. We just got word on the web that instead of casting Vin, the Hitman: Bloody Money movie production will be be picking actor Timothy Olyphant, famous for his role as Seth Bullock in the Deadwood TV series.

In related news, Swordfish writer Skip Woods will still be providing for the movie' screenplay. Co-producers for the film as of now include Luc Besson (The Fifth Element), Chuck Gordon, Adrian Askarieh, and Daniel Alter. Expect this 20th Century Fox film to be coming in as early as next year's fall.

That is VERy good news. I never understood why Vin Gasoline was picked to play 47. He does not look one bit like 47, plus he is way too muscular. Was it just because he is bald..?? Hmm..

I believe that the actor who plays the voice of hitman should play him in the movie because the creators of the hitman series actually based his look in the game on the actor who voices him in real life

its the same thing with halo, they just want a big name actor to play the role so as to draw in the crowd of people who only go to the movies to see their favorite actors, but dont really play video games.

I personally like to see a fresh face on screen because it brings you more into the story when your not thinking about how great your favorite actor is.
